Fitness In 2012

by Steve Auxier on 12/30/2011

Have you ever watched a rocket ship take off? In the beginning the thrust of energy is totally amazing and when a specific altitude is reached the thrust is reduced. Do you approach your fitness program like this? Are you super motivated in the beginning but find yourself leveling off at the 6-12 week point? Don’t worry you are not alone! Many people stuggle with staying motivated to succeed! Remember fitness is for a lifetime…not just 6-12 weeks

How are you going to approach this NEW YEAR?!?! Will this be a different year for you or will you repeat last years short coming?  Stay focused, sort through all of the confusion and get the ball moving.  WE MUST TRANSFORM OUR MIND BEFORE WE TRANSFORM OUR BODIES:)

I have witnessed people stuggle with obstacles that suddenly come up in their life…a death in the family, sickness, a job change, a divorce, or an injury. Obstacles are good to make your character stronger….but how do we overcome these obstacles to stay focused on our fitness journey?

Your positive mindset. Have we known people that are constantly stuggling with staying motivated and always have an excuse for their short coming? I truely believe we need to approach obstacles with a positive mindset. What will this short term situation teach us? What positive can I take from the current situation?

Over 4 years ago I endured a major leg injury that put me up against the ropes. A major obstacle in my life! After being placed in a tough situation I had a ton of time on my hands to think about what was the lesson that I needed to learn? Sure I could crawl in a hole and feel sorry for myself but no I came back mentally stronger than ever before! I came from that situation with a burning desire to help people really transform their lives and give people hope that they can go from ordinary to extraordinary!

Approach all obstacles with a positive mindset and use them to only make you stronger! Obstacles will close doors and open new ones! Your fitness journey will have many bumps and major rivers to cross but use your obstacles as a bridge to your success!!

With this being said how do you stay focused and keep on track.  I highly recommend that we seek the help of mentors, support groups, and surround yourself with strong willed motivated people.  When you organize your life with these 3 pillars your failure rate is reduced and you will be on your way to success.

Personally I have surrounded myself with the BEST FITNESS STAFF IN THE WORLD!  To help others I needed to find experts in each area of fitness! MAKE THIS THE BEST YEAR EVER FOR YOUR FITNESS GOALS!! NO MORE GUESSING, NO MORE FAD DIETS, NO MORE DIET PILLS, NO MORE FAILURES!  BELIEVE IN YOURSELF…HONOR YOUR BODY!

FITNESS SUCCESS= ONE MEAL, ONE WORKOUT, ONE DAY AT A TIME!
