Heeeey! I have a new workout for you! Be careful this one can be a total KILLER:) This workout can be performed indoors or outdoors with minimal equipment. Try to take no rest or if needed very short. I love this to really improve your lactate threshold or simpler terms to fight off the burn.
INDOOR VERSION:
BE CAREFUL HERE! With a continous running treadmill start with an 800 meter run then to max pushups then repeat to 700m then max pushups. Repeat this sequence all the way down to 100 meter run with max pushups. The speed of the treadmill should never go down but try to increase when the distance shortens.
OUTDOOR VERSION:
Same sequence but your distance will need to be estimated or use Garmin watch for exact distance.
Remember test the belt speed for the treadmill before just jumping on. If you are at a gym watch other members so they do not jump on your treadmill. Personally I stay right next to my treadmill and perform the pushups right there.

East trach is alwasy open for those that like running in circles but at least you would have exact distances!

Jamie excellent idea. The padded track would be excellent for the joints.
