Blizzard 2009 Workout-11 Fat Burning Exercises

Wow the Blizzard of 2009 has snowed more people in and the cabin fever is going on everywhere!!  To add more discomfort the overload of calories from Christmas!!  Here is a fast home workout to blast some big calories and help you get back on track!   The programs consists of 11 movements (Lincoln received 11 inches of snow) and the intervals are 30 seconds ( outside temperature is 30 degrees).   So…have a snowball with this program!!!

 

Exercise #1:  Bodyweight Squats (Jumping):  1 minute duration

Interval #1: Burpee’s:  30 seconds

Exercise #2:  Lunges alternating feet ( add dumbbells if needed) 1 minute 15

Interval #2:  Mountain climbers:  30 seconds

Exercise #3:  Bear Crawls adding pushups in:  1 minute 30seconds

Interval #3:  Burpee’s:  30 seconds

Exercise#4:  Pushups:  1minute 45seconds

Interval #4:  Abdominal Planks:  30seconds

Exercise #5:  Step Ups on a chair or bench switching feet:  2 minutes

Interval #5:  Jump Squats or speed squats ( 30seconds)

Exercise #6:  Wall sits:  2minutes 15 seconds

Interval #7:  Mountain climbers:  30 seconds

Exercise #8:  Lunges laterally ( alternate legs lunging left-right) 2 min 30sec

Interval #8:  Ice Skaters: 30 seconds

Exercise #9:  Tricep Chair dips:  2 min 45 seconds

Interval #9:  Nordic Tracks or quick feet skips:  30 seconds

Exercise #10:  Burpee ( any variety)  3 minutes

Interval #10:  Jumping Jacks ( any foot variety 30 seconds)

Exercise #11:  Mountain Climbers:  3 minutes 15 seconds

Interval #11:  Superman swimmers ( Snow angels)  30 seconds

Now go run out in a snow drifts and do snow angels….I want to see pictures:)
